Productive Macs applications - licensing questions
Do I get regular or limited licenses?
All licenses are full licenses without any limitations, exactly like these you would get if you would purchase the application directly from the developer.
Can I run a single license on multiple computers?
Short answer: Licensing rules for each application are different, but all applications except for Tags support multiple computers for one user. Tags has a single-machine license plan, with multiple machines require family license.
Long answer:
-
LaunchBar - A single license can be used on several machines, as long as it is only used by one user, or it can be used on one machine by several users. It should not be used by several users on different machines - even if in the same household.
-
Cashculator - A license is a family license, allowing to use the application by several users on several machines within the same household.
-
Home Inventory - A single license can be installed on multiple Macs in the same household as long as it is in use on only one computer at any given time.
-
BusyCal is licensed per user. A single license can be used on up to 2 computers (e.g. one at home and one at work).
-
Default Folder X - is licensed per user. A single license supports several computers for that user.
-
Notebook - You can install a single-user Notebook license key on as many computers as you like, but the restriction is that only one can run at a time.
-
Fantastical - A license is for a single user and can be used on as many Macs as you own. If you want to use Fantastical with multiple users on more than one machine, you'll need to purchase additional licenses.
